well,i know im not a "top student" or anybody....but,how important studies is to us?...VERY important i guess...everybody is studying so hard to get good results..spending sooooooh much time,sooooh much money,sooooh much effort...blablabla....we all know that a degree nowadays is equivalent to "nothing"?..i have many seniors who obtain 1st class honours...at the end..they work in fields which are not related to their majoring at all~!!!..biohealth/biochem/biotech ==> IT,salesperson?,business line?...coz cant find a job?...i mean its nothing wrong being in that line...just that...after studying sooooooooooooh hard abt biology for 3 years..then after graduate...totally "return" it back 2our lecturer and pursue yr career in other fields...whats d point??..i dun get it...mmm...nyway,the thing that kept me thinking was....how much are we willing to sacrifice for "studies"?...as in..is it worth it to sacrifice our "relationship"-(gf-bf,husband-wife,etc) for it?many ppl have probs in their relationship...because of studies..in my case..im slacking alot,not performing well....n so called wana "concentrate" on my studies,so i choose not 2get myself involved in a relationship at the moment....is that the right choice?..at the end of the day...im going to get married to the person i love...not to BOOKS!!!

then again...i notice many "successful" ppl in this world....most of them are not PHD holders or masters etc...which means...doesn't mean u didn't do well in yr studies, u r a failure~!..m i right?..or wrong?..sigh...haha..to think abt it...if im doing well in my studies...i wont be writing this post at all~!!!
sigh...i guess im just thinking too much....10 more days to finals...i just hope i wont screw up this semester again...tough day,sad post...tmr will be a better day(i hope)...i guess 10 days of hibernation for me...i dont believe i cant do well in my studies...all im lacking is DISCIPLINE.............too bad the person i hope to share my happiness,sorrows,bedtime stories with....is busy with her studies as well...=]

you're very right about certain things you mentioned.nobody knows what lies ahead in the future.however,you're here in UM,so might as well make it worthwhile,though you may or may not pursure bio in the future.study hard gerald,its never a loss acquiring knowledge,and you only get a degree once,so do the very best that you can.as for your future,put your trust in GOd,He holds your future,and has great plans for you,though you may not know it.study hard,all the best!

For me, I think it's really important to me for right now...But in future..I also don't know...
However, I really agree that its not a loss for acquiring knowledge as anonymous mentioned before.
Don't think too much...Be concentrate and have self discipline..

You are the only one that knows well abt your weakness...Don't afraid to make any positive change.
